Terms of Use

The rules of using Vadodara Social

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Aditya Jain covering your use of the Vadodara Social website and app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use Vadodara Social

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vadodara Social. The service arranges meetings between people in person, and it is not intended for anyone under 18.

This is enforced by the service, not just stated here: an account cannot be created with a date of birth under 18, and an under-18 account cannot see public plans, request to join one, or publish one.

You must provide accurate information about yourself, including your real date of birth. You may hold only one account, and you may not create an account if we have previously removed you.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. We may ask you to verify your email address before you can use parts of the service.

A community platform

Vadodara Social is a community platform where people in Vadodara find each other, make plans and share local knowledge. We do not employ, endorse, screen, certify or guarantee any member or any third-party service provider — any person, professional, business, institution or organisation someone mentions or recommends — unless we explicitly say so about that specific person or service.

Nothing posted on Vadodara Social is our recommendation: not a plan, a profile, a question, a reply, or an answer other members marked helpful or chose as most helpful. None of it is a promise about anyone's identity, qualifications, skills, conduct or suitability.

Any arrangement you make with another member or a service provider — work in your home, lessons, childcare, care for an older family member, a sale or a payment — is between you and them. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for how it turns out. Please independently verify any person or service before engaging them.

Meeting people — please read this

We do not conduct background checks on members. Verification status shown on a profile indicates only what a member has chosen to provide; it is not a guarantee of anyone's identity, character or intentions.

Plans arranged through Vadodara Social happen in the real world, between adults, at their own risk. You alone decide who to meet and where. We strongly recommend that you meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, arrange your own transport, and leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the conduct of any member, whether online or offline, or for anything that happens at a plan or event.

If someone behaves badly, block and report them in the app. If you are in danger, contact the police on 112.

Community guidelines

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate or discriminate against anyone. Do not post sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content. Do not share another member's private information, including their contact details, without their permission. Do not use the service to advertise, recruit, solicit money, or run a commercial operation without our agreement. Do not misrepresent your age or identity.

Plans must be genuine. Do not create plans you do not intend to hold.

Recommend only people and services you have genuine experience of, and say so when you are recommending yourself, a relative or a business you are connected with. Do not post fake recommendations or reviews.

Content you post

You keep ownership of everything you post — your bio, plan descriptions, photos and messages. You give us permission to host and display that content within the service so it can work as intended. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Costs between members

Some plans have an entry fee set by the host. That amount is owed directly between the host and the people joining — it is a shared cost between members, not a payment to us. We do not collect it, hold it, or guarantee it, and we are not party to any refund. Settle these arrangements between yourselves.

Vadodara Social is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you before they apply to you.

Asking for and offering help

Where it is available, Helping Hand lets members ask the community for local recommendations and everyday help, and answer one another. It is a place to share experience, not a marketplace: we do not arrange bookings, handle payments, take commissions, rate or rank anyone, or stand behind any answer.

Check anyone you find through Helping Hand yourself before you engage them. For help at home, with children or with older family members, that means checking identity, references and suitability before anyone starts, and meeting first.

Questions and replies are visible to other members. Do not include phone numbers, home addresses, financial information, identity documents or other sensitive personal information, whether yours or anyone else's. Share contact details only when you are ready to, and only with someone you have checked.

You can report a question or reply, and block a member, from any post. We may remove content and restrict or suspend accounts as described below.

Reports and enforcement

We review reports and may warn a member, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account. Where behaviour is serious — threats, violence, or anything unlawful — we may act immediately and without notice, and may involve the police.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop operating the service. Some of your content may remain visible to others after closure, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

We provide Vadodara Social as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error free, and we may change or discontinue features.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vadodara Social after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Vadodara, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
