How we prevent and act on child sexual abuse and exploitation

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Vadodara Social has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, how anyone can report a concern, and what we do about it.

This is an adults-only service

Vadodara Social is for people aged 18 and over. That is enforced by the service, not merely stated: an account cannot be created with a date of birth under 18, and an under-18 account cannot see public plans, request to join one, or publish one.

We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account. If we learn that someone under 18 has one, we remove it.

What is prohibited

The following are banned outright, and an account responsible for any of them is removed:

  • Child sexual abuse material, in any form, including drawn, animated or computer-generated depictions.
  • Sexualising a minor in text, images, or conversation.
  • Attempting to contact, meet, or groom a person under 18.
  • Using the service to solicit, trade or advertise such material or contact.
  • Misrepresenting your age, including an adult presenting as a minor or a minor presenting as an adult.

How to report it

In the app. Open the conversation with the person, tap Report, and choose Child safety. Reports reach us directly and are treated as urgent. You do not need the other person's permission, and they are not told who reported them.

By email. Write to aditya@infodata.in with whatever detail you can give. You do not need an account to do this, and you may report anonymously.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In India, dial 112, or the child helpline 1098.

What we do about it

A child safety report is prioritised above every other kind. We review it as quickly as we can and, while we do, we can suspend the account so it cannot contact anyone.

Where a report is substantiated we remove the account permanently, preserve the relevant records, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities, including India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

We keep records of removed accounts so that the same person cannot quietly return.

Our legal obligations

We comply with applicable child safety law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2005 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where a matter must be reported to authorities, we report it.
