Delete your account

You can delete your Vadodara Social account at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same data.

If you can still sign in — instant

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

1. Open Vadodara Social and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Scroll to Delete my account, confirm, and it is done.

If you have uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in

Email aditya@infodata.in from the address on the account, asking us to delete it.

Write from the email address you signed up with if you can — it is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you cannot, tell us the email address on the account and we will verify another way before deleting anything.

We action requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What deleting removes

Your profile, photo, bio, date of birth, area and preferences. The plans you created. Your join requests, saved and interested plans, chat messages, notification settings and any push tokens for your devices. Your profile and plans stop being visible to other members immediately.

What is kept, and why

A few things survive deletion, because removing them would damage other people's records rather than protect yours:

• Your sign-in credentials, so that the account cannot be silently re-created or re-used by someone else.
• Messages you sent, which remain visible to the person you sent them to — the same way a sent text does not vanish from the other phone.
• Reports you filed about other members, so we can still act on them, and reports filed about you, so a pattern of harm cannot be erased by deleting an account.
• Records we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

Nothing kept identifies you publicly, and none of it appears in discovery, plans or member lists.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete everything to remove something. You can change or clear your photo, bio, area and preferences from the Profile screen, cancel plans you host, and withdraw from plans you joined. If you want a specific item removed and cannot do it yourself, email aditya@infodata.in and tell us what it is.
